I just finished watching QUEENMAKER, which was so good!
As for the ramen/ramyeon/ramyun, I noticed this, too, in DIVORCE ATTORY SHIN. I wondered why anyone would pay for instant noodles when you can make it at home. And on JINNY'S KITCHEN, one of the most popular items they were selling in Mexico are instant ramyeon noodles. The guests would rave about how delicious they were and I honestly didn't see the appeal in them. I guess if it's new-to-you, maybe?
😉 That's a good point. But when I eat out, I want to get something I don't know how to make our don't want to make at home like fried chicken. I can never get it right!
it could be potato for all i know haha! episode 5. when it’s two of them drinking at table of beer in apt. episode 7 at 40min in has a great food scene. actually this one is quite good with food throughout it!
have you ever seen Be Melodramatic? there was a scene where they are having a lot of beers and one of them (Lim Jin-joo) was holding a snack that looked like some kind of string cheese consistency? it's the first time i've been truly stumped on what a korean snack was made of.
Do you know what episode snack was in? I haven't seen Be Melodramatic, but it looks cute. The female lead from Vincenzo is in it. I will try to find the scene and figure out what the snack is. I'm always taken aback when I see them eating cheesy food in a drama.

I also enjoyed Queenmaker, and Jinny's Kitchen looks interesting. I will have to take a look.
I don't see the appeal in ordering instant ramen. But I was thinking the other day, that other people probably don't get why I pay for bottled water.

i'm hungry now :)
Yup, ramyeon has that effect. Luckily it's an easy fix. :)

Check Substack Notes. I posted a picture--tell me if that's what you were asking about.
